The pine trees planted by Seomjingang River to block the strong wind from the river and sandy river during the 21st year of Joseon King Yeongjo’s reign (1745) became the most beautiful pine forest we see today in Korea. This 26,000㎡ forest has more than 900 old pine trees. The silky white sand beach by the sparkling Seomjingang River and the lush green pine forest offer a scenery that looks like a perfect landscape painting.
