Introduce

Hadong Bukcheon Cosmos & Buckwheat Flower Festival was started to attract tourists with an agricultural hands-on festival using agricultural landscapes of Hadong and also to promote winter landscape flowers like buckwheat flowers and cosmos which were planted in Hadong as part of the ‘Landscape Conservation Credit System’. The festival has significantly contributed to increasing the added value of agricultural products cultivated in Hadong and to invigorating Hadong’s overall economy. The festival is invigorating the agricultural economy, boosting a community spirit among the people and enabling people to regain confidence in their future income.
