    The sap collected from acer mono trees in the pollution-free Jirisan Mountain region contain a lot of saccharose and minerals. Acer mono sap is also known to stabilize blood sugar levels, help you recover from fatigue, strengthen your stomach, have a diuretic effect and boost your stamina. Acer mon sap can be consumed by men and women of all ages. The flavor and smell are not strong nor distinct. Sap is essentially water that has minerals, nutrients and sugar so it’s safe to consume as everyday drinking water. According to Korea Testing and Research Institute for Chemical Industry’s data, acer mono sap’s sugar content is between 1.8 to 2.0%.

    Zucchinis are in seasons usually from summer to fall. The ones you see from winter to spring are grown in greenhouses. There are green and yellow zucchinis. Zucchinis taste better cooked than raw. They also have a unique, subtle bitter taste but the texture is similar to that of eggplants. They are also similar to eggplants in that the they become very soft when cooked and taste better when cooked with oil or butter. Zucchinis have a beautiful skin so they are usually cooked with the skin unpeeled. You can chop them up in small round pieces and stir fry them in butter with some steak or parboil them and make a salad with some salt and lemon juice. Zucchinis are also great when they are boiled in cream or tomato sauce. If you want something special, you can boil them slightly, slice them in thin slices and roll them up with slices of more colorful ingredients like salmon and tomato for a great hors d'oeuvre. Zucchini fritters or fries also great. Zucchini flower fritters made by frying zucchini flower coated with some cheese are a great Italian dish. Zucchinis are a great source of Vitamin A and Vitamin C. They are a low-calorie ingredient low in sugar, starch and calories.

    Paprikas produced in the rich riverbed soil below Jirisan Mountain are filled with a lot of Vitamin A and other nutrients and they are largely exported to Japan. Paprikas are also referred to as the "jewel of vegetables" because of their amazing variety of colors, high nutrient content, taste much sweeter (scale 7 to 10) than green bell peppers and low calorie. They are just as great for decorating and when you’re on a diet. The thickness of the skin varies from season to season but paprika usually have a thicker skin (4-10mm) and are bigger (130-280g/fruit) than green bell peppers. Paprikas have high Vitamin A, Vitamin C and iron contents and the red ones have 1.5 to 2 times the amount found in green bell peppers.

Strawberry contains significantly more Vitamin C than other fruits. The tip is the sweetest part and the neck or the middle section is less sweet. Strawberries are also 0.6-1.5% organic acid which gives sourness to the fruit. Strawberries contain 80mg of Vitamin C per 100g, twice the amount found in lemons.

The actinidin enzyme in kiwi fruit make them a great meat and fish tenderizer. Their high Vitamin C content also boost your energy and enhances your skin. Fully ripe kiwi fruit are shaped like a jelly bean and are very moisture-rich. Inside, the small brownish seeds are aligned in concentric circles. The juice contains enzyme that decompose proteins so they are great as a dessert after a meal or for tenderizing your meat. Putting some thin slices of kiwi fruit on top of chewy beef for about 20 minutes will make your meat perfectly tender for a great steak.

Daebong persimmons were originally called ‘Woegam’ or ‘Hachiya’ but is now called in a pure Korean name. Daebong persimmons grown in Agyang have a unique flavor and fragrance that are nothing like Daebong persimmons grown in other places.
